Did you hear the fantastic news? The Boys and Girls Club are scheduled to break ground December 2014 on their brand new facility. |
By the way, did you hear the news? Through extensive cooperation over several years, The Boys & Girls Club, the City of Huntsville, the School District and a land developer were able to secure the land to make this new Boys and Girls Club location happen.
This facility will also serve as the future home of the City of Huntsville Community Safe Room, which will be used in the event of a natural disaster such as a hurricane or tornado. And the location can't be beat- across the street from the HISD Transportation Center (the "Bus Barn") and just down the way from Huntsville Elementary School.
